As you may have heard, there is a recent breakout of distemper in the Gauteng area, if not, please read this article by The Citizen.
Distemper is a serious viral disease that is highly contagious and for which there is no known treatment. This virus is transmitted through direct or indirect contact with infected animals, and may even be transmitted via the air.
In order to keep distemper out of our area, it is important that all dogs are vaccinated and that their vaccinations are up to date. If your dog is not vaccinated on a regular basis or within the past year, your dog may be susceptible to the virus.
To assist in ensuring our neighbourhood is distemper free, we are giving 35% off on all vaccination in February 2019. To take us up on this offer, please complete the form to make a booking.
If you have any questions on distemper, please feel free to give us a call and we will gladly assist.
